How do you describe White Ninja to other people?
We tend to describe White Ninja using lots and lots of adjectives. Some of our favourites include: smelly, long, pink, and computery.
How did White Ninja Comics start?
We found the original White Ninja comics buried in a time capsule along with a pair of x-ray glasses and a hypno coin.
Did you originally intend for White Ninja to be a webcomic?
No, it was originally intended to be a two-disc enhanced music CD. After numerous submissions to BMG and Virgin, we decided the scrap the idea, because “it’s not even music.” Instead we decided to turn it into a comic strip, which was really easy because it already was one.
Why did you choose to make the visual style similar to something a thirteen year old might doodle?
We actually contract out artists for the comic. Primarily they are sweaty 6-year olds working out of a factory in China. We’ll pass along that you thought they were 13-year olds – they’ll really appreciate that.
What are your favorite comics that you have done?
Scott’s favourite is “White Ninja puts a wiffle ball on a pylon.” And I enjoy the one called “White Ninja and Bill.”
What is fan response like? Ever been recognized in public?
We have often been mistaken for the stars of TV’s Degrassi Junior High, Joey Jeremiah and Snake. We are handsome S.O.B.’s.

How is a typical White Ninja comic put together?
The sweaty kids send us several thousand individual panels to use. We put them in a big bag and throw them on the floor. We then pick out 6 panels at random with our eyes closed, and hope that they run together in some sort of discernable way. Sometimes we have to cut them short at 3 panels because they stop making sense.
Would White Ninja be CGI in the movie version, or live action?
It would be a live action sort of. Ideally he would be played by Jean-Claude Van Damme’s foot wearing a white sock. Man, that would be sweet.
What new social trends are you morally opposed to?
We don’t like forensics. It’s the new hip science and it needs to be stopped.
What advice would you give to others who wish to write a comic?
If you are thinking about writing a comic you are a probably a massive geek and should think about getting a life before it is too late!
Thank you very much for answering my questions, have a good day and... such.
